Diploma of Quality Auditing 2012

Qualification Overview:
The Diploma of Quality Auditing draws together the skills, knowledge and practice of people requiring the recognition in their role as auditors. The programs together will provide an overview of preparing, managing, conducting, and reviewing audits and then presenting the results of the audit to senior management. An opportunity to practice these skills is part of this program and forms part of the assessment.

Who will Benefit:
Personnel responsible for internal and/or external auditing of organisational management systems. Auditors who wish to enhance their existing auditing skills and those conducting inspections and/or audits on behalf of regulatory or licensing bodies would also benefit from attending.

Learning Outcomes:
As a result of attending this series of modules, participants should be able to:

• Assess the audit scope and objectives
• Identify resources required to conduct the quality audit
• Review auditee documentation
• Identify and gather information
• Compile audit reports
• Report on audit findings and conduct follow-up where appropriate
• Maintain infrastructure and processes for managing risk management system
• Manage people and evaluate performance
• Understand how a team works
• Lead a team successfully
• Identify and implement improvement processes.

Requirements to Receive the Diploma of Quality Auditing:
Participants are required to complete the six programs listed and successfully fulfil all relevant assessment requirements, or apply for skills recognition.
Skills Recognition is a process that enables those who are interested in gaining the qualification to be granted exemption from some or all training programs.
Programs can be attended in any order with the exception of Internal and External Auditor Training. This program is a pre-requisite for Lead Auditor Training. 

Assessment:
There are a number of steps involved in achieving your qualification:

1.    Participants successfully complete an in-class assessment at the Internal and External Auditor Training program, which provides the assessor the opportunity to identify your knowledge of the audit process.

2.    On the Lead Auditor Training program, participants complete and submit an audit report and complete an in-class assessment. Participants are required to successfully complete an assessment task for each of the remaining programs above, showing how they are applying the competencies addressed on the programs in the workplace.

Enrolment:

Step 1: Complete Application Form
Download the Information Kit and complete the Application Form to register onto the qualification. Mail, fax or email signed Application Form to AIM.

Step 2: Enrol on each individual program in your qualification
You will need to enrol on each of the programs that form part of your qualification individually, as each will have a various dates for you to choose from.

a. Enrol using Enrolment Form
- Fill in the Enrolment Form included in the Information Kit and send or fax back to AIM.

b. Enrol Online
- Select the first program below and choose your preferred date, click  Book Now
- Add yourself or Add Attendee to the program
- Click on Add Program to continue adding all modules for your qualification
- Once all programs have been added you can continue to the Checkout.
