Program Overview:
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the professional qualification required by trainers and assessors operating within the structure of a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
The program offered by AIM provides a simple and clear framework for candidates interested in seeking to develop their skills in competency based training and assessment enabling them to work effectively in the context of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) environment.

Requirements to Receive the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment:
Participants are required to complete the three programs listed and successfully complete relevant assessment requirements, or apply for skills recognition.
Skills Recognition is a process that enables those who are interested in gaining the qualification to be granted exemption from some or all training programs.
Assessment:
Assessment for the qualification requires candidates to complete specific projects and assignments relating to the three programs. Each of these assignments include:
A workplace task to apply the skills developed
A short report outlining your rationale for the development, delivery and assessment decisions that you made throughout the process
- Supporting documents from your workplace.
Enrolment:
Step 1: Complete Application Form
Download the Information Kit and complete the Application Form to register onto the qualification. Mail, fax or email signed Application Form to AIM.
Step 2: Enrol on each individual program in your qualification
You will need to enrol on each of the programs that form part of your qualification individually, as each will have a various dates for you to choose from.
a. Enrol using Enrolment Form
- Fill in the Enrolment Form included in the Information Kit and send or fax back to AIM.

b. Enrol Online
- Select the first program below and choose your preferred date, click Book Now
- Add yourself or Add Attendee to the program
- Click on Add Program to continue adding all modules for your qualification
- Once all programs have been added you can continue to the Checkout.
