T10641D: Advanced FLM - Operational Improvement and Performance

Program Overview

The final of four modules, Operational Improvement and Perforamnce enables experienced supervisors to enhance their professional development. Experienced supervisors and managers are often looking for professional development opportunities that allow them to build on their existing knowledge and skills. This module assumes the participants are experienced people managers, technicians or practitioners, and then enhances their ability with the introduction of the latest concepts and models of management and leadership.
The aim of the program is to both enhance the expertise and refresh the enthusiasm of participants to enable them to be more significant contributors to their organisation’s success and be more engaged with their work. This module offers contemporary content that will stretch the thinking of participants and challenge their perception of their current role. The content is designed to offer practical tools that can be applied immediately on return to the workplace.
Participants can do the modules in any order, although the sequence listed is recommended.

Designed for

Supervisors, team leaders and managers who have completed some professional development such as the Frontline Manager qualifications and are looking to further develop their knowledge and skills. In order to successfully complete the assessment requirements at this level, participants should have at least 5 years experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager.
