631Y: FLM Diploma of Management
Program Overview
Using the newly released competencies, the program will run over an 11 week timeframe. This new approach allows several days of learning at the one time, with several weeks between sessions, allowing participants more time to practice what they have learned. This approach will also be attractive to those people who live or work remotely who will now be able to attend blocks of training.
This program is designed to create a Return On Investment (ROI) both for the organisation as well as for the individual through a highly participative learning approach which includes attendance in the training room, minimal learning tasks and a workplace project.
More and more these days, supervisors and managers have to ensure they have the relevant knowledge, skills and attitude to create innovative strategies to build their organisation’s competitiveness in the marketplace. This means that how they manage people and resources is vitally important, and can mean the difference between success or failure.
Designed for
Managers working at the frontline of an organisation, from supervisors and team leaders, through to business unit and divisional managers. The breadth and depth of the capabilities developed during the program enable participants to apply leadership and management competencies across a range of different work roles in a variety of organisational contexts and industry sectors.
